Pike Place Market

Sunday, August 20, 2017

Pike Place Market is one of the touristy spots in Seattle.
They are famous for their fresh seafood restaurants and fish market, which vendors throw fish across the counter. Unfortunately I arrived in the evening this time, so only captured the empty fish stands.
Next to the market, there is also the first Starbucks with the original mermaid signage.
If you are a seafood lover, you can definitely indulge at many restaurants here where serve fresh seafood.
I went to happy hour at Athenian in the market this time and was very satisfied with the food, the view, and the happy hour price.
My friend and I ordered curry prawns, mussels, ahi tuna, fish tacos following by calamari...and so on. And of course good seafood tapas need to be enjoyed together with a glass of cold beer.
It was truly an amazing feast with many variety of seafood.

If you ever travel to Seattle, dont forget to stop by Pike Place Market and treat yourself some delightful seafood dishes.
